Building of «Baku City Credit Society»
The building of the «Baku City Credit Society», built in 1896. The building occupies half of the block along the streets named after Mirza Ibragimov (former Armyanskaya), 7, Islam Safarli (former Fonarnaya), 14 and Lev Tolstoy (former Gymnasium), 138. The author of the building project is the German architect Nikolaus August von der Nonne (16.06.1835 – 13.08.1908). The building is an architectural monument and is protected by the state.
