A beautiful mansion on Khagani (former Molokanskaya) Street, 9 was built in 1896 according to the project of the German architect John Wilhelm Edel (1863 - 14.02.1932).
The house, at the request of the customer, was placed indented from the red line of the street. As a result, a small cozy garden was formed in front of him, which is a rare occurrence in the city center.
The facade designed by the architect gravitates towards the Italian Renaissance and is distinguished by great plasticity. The façade features a portico with Corinthian columns and classical architectural and ornamental forms.
The building has a professionally designed comfortable layout of rooms and classic luxurious interiors. The mansion belongs to the successful works of John Wilhelm Edel and is an architectural monument of Baku of the late XIX - early XX century.
